Product Name: | Recombinant Rat Vegfa, None tagged |
Product Overview: | Recombinant Rat Vegfa (AAA41211.1) 164 isoform (Met 1-Arg 190), fused with no tag, was produced in Baculovirus-Insect cells. |
Description: | Vegfa was recently identified as a secreted, direct-acting mitogen specific for vascular endothelial cells and capable of stimulating angiogenesis in vivo. Vegfa is a multifunctional cytokine that contributes to angiogenesis by both direct and indirect mechanisms. Vegfa stimulates the ECs lining nearby microvessels to proliferate, migrate, and to alter their pattern of gene expression. |
Source: | Baculovirus-Insect cells |
Species: | Rat |
Tag: | N/A |
Formulation: | Lyophilized from 0.2μm filtered solution of 100mM Glycine, 10mM NaCl, pH 7.0 |
Storage: | Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Reconstitution: | It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents. |
Molecular Mass: | The secreted recombinant rat VEGF164 consists of 164 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 19.2 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the rat VEGF164 is approximately 25 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. |
