Recombinant Rat Reg4, His tagged

Product Information
Catalog#:  MK0634R
Product Name:  Recombinant Rat Reg4, His tagged
Product Overview:  Recombinant Rat Reg4 (Q68AX7) (Met1-Pro157), fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, was produced in Human Cell.
Description:  Regenerating islet-derived protein 4, also known as REG-like protein, REG4, GISP and RELP, is a secreted protein which contains one C-type lectin domain. REG4 is involved in inflammatory and metaplastic responses of the gastrointestinal epithelium. REG4 is highly expressed in the gastrointestinal tract including the duodenum, jejunum, ileum, ileocecum, appendix, descending colon, pancreas and small intestine. It is weakly expressed in normal colon and stomach and strongly expressed in most colorectal tumors
Source:  HEK293 cells
Species:  Rat
Tag:  His
Formulation:  Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Storage:  Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution:  It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
Molecular Mass:  The recombinant rat REG4 comprises 146 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 17.3 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the recombinant protein is approximately 26-30 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation.
Stability:  Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70℃.
Endotoxin:  Less than 1.0 EU per μg as determined by the LAL method.
Notes:  Research Use Only. Not for use in clinical procedures.Aoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
