Product Name: | Recombinant Rat Cd5, His tagged |
Product Overview: | Recombinant Rat Cd5 (P51882) (Met1-Pro368), fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, was produced in Human Cell. |
Description: | T-cell surface glycoprotein CD5, also known as Lymphocyte antigen T1 and LEU1, is a single-pass type I membrane protein. CD5 contains 3 SRCR domains and has been regarded as a possible B cell lineage marker differentiating subsets, CD5+ B cells (also termed B1 cells) and conventional B cells (or B2 cells). CD5 is expressed at various developmental and activation stages on human B cells. It is a well established negative regulator of TCR and BCR signalling. Increased expression of CD5 on either T cells or B |
Source: | HEK293 cells |
Species: | Rat |
Tag: | His |
Formulation: | Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4. |
Storage: | Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Reconstitution: | It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents. |
Molecular Mass: | The recombinant rat CD5 comprises 356 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 38.9 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the recombinant protein is approximately 46-49 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions due to glycosylation. |
Stability: | Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70℃. |
Endotoxin: | Less than 1.0 EU per μg as determined by the LAL method. |
Notes: | Research Use Only. Not for use in clinical procedures.Aoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
