Product Name: | Recombinant Mouse Prl, His tagged |
Product Overview: | Recombinant Mouse Prl (P09411) (Leu 32-Cys 228), fused with an initial Met at the N-terminus and a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, was produced in Baculovirus-Insect cells. |
Description: | Prl is one of the mediators of the bidirectional communication between neuroendocrine and immune systems. The neuroendocrine control of Prl secretion is unlike that of any other pituitary hormone. Prl is predominantly inhibited by the hypothalamus and, in the absence of a regulatory feedback hormone, it acts directly in the brain to suppress its own secretion. |
Source: | Baculovirus-Insect cells |
Species: | Mouse |
Tag: | His |
Formulation: | Lyophilized from 0.2μm filtered solution of 20mM Tris, 500mM NaCl, pH 7.4, 10% glycerol |
Storage: | Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Reconstitution: | It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents. |
Molecular Mass: | The recombinant mouse PRL consists of 207 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 23.8 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 26 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. |
