Recombinant Mouse Mcam, His tagged

Product Information
Catalog#:  MK0542M
Product Name:  Recombinant Mouse Mcam, His tagged
Product Overview:  Recombinant Mouse Mcam (Q8R2Y2-1) extracellular domain (Met 1-Val 563), fused with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag, was produced in Human Cell.
Description:  Mcam is an integral membrane glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Mcam contains the characteristic immunoglobulin-like domains (V-V-C2-C2-C2), a transmembrane region and a short cytoplasmic tail. The Mcam expression is detected in endothelial cells in vascular tissue throughout the body, and plays a role in cell adhesion, as well as in cohesion of the endothelial monolayer at intercellular junctions in vascular tissue. As a Ca2+ -independent cell adhesion molecule involved in heterophil
Source:  HEK293 cells
Species:  Mouse
Tag:  His
Formulation:  Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Storage:  Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution:  It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
Molecular Mass:  The secreted recombinant mouse MCAM comprises 551 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 61.3 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of the recombinant protein is approximately 90-100 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Stability:  Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70℃.
Endotoxin:  Less than 1.0 EU per μg as determined by the LAL method.
Notes:  Research Use Only. Not for use in clinical procedures.Aoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
