Product Information
Product Name:  Recombinant Human TROP-2/TACSTD2 Protein, His-Avi-tagged, biotinylated
Catalog#:  MK1037H
Species:  Human
Source:  HEK293
Tag:  His-Avi
Product Overview:  Recombinant Human TROP-2/TACSTD2 Protein (P09758) (His27-Thr274), fused with a C-terminal His-Avi tag, was expressed in HEK293 cells.
Description:  Trop-2, also known as Epithelial Glycoprotein-1 (EGP-1), is a protein encoded by the TACSTD2 gene in humans. This protein is clinically significant because mutations in its gene are the direct cause of gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy. This is a rare, autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe amyloid deposits in the cornea, which ultimately leads to blindness.
Formulation:  Formulated in 0.22μm-filtered Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4).
Purity:  > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage:  Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution:  Use distilled water to dissolve the protein to a concentration above 100 μg/mL. Aliquot the solution into single-use vials and freeze.
Molecular Mass:  The protein has a predicted MW of 30.5 kDa.
Stability:  Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C.
Endotoxin:  Less than 1.0 EU per μg as determined by the LAL method.
