Recombinant Human REG4, His-tagged

Product Information
Catalog#:  MK0632H
Product Name:  Recombinant Human REG4, His-tagged
Product Overview:  A DNA sequence encoding the human REG4 (NP_001152824.1) (Met 1-Pro 158) was expressed, with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
Description:  Regenerating islet-derived protein 4, also known as REG-like protein, REG4, GISP and RELP, is a secreted protein which contains one C-type lectin domain. REG4 is involved in inflammatory and metaplastic responses of the gastrointestinal epithelium. REG4 is highly expressed in the gastrointestinal tract including the duodenum, jejunum, ileum, ileocecum, appendix, descending colon, pancreas and small intestine. It is weakly expressed in normal colon and stomach and strongly expressed in most colorectal tumors
Source:  HEK293 cells
Species:  Human
Tag:  His
Formulation:  Lyophilized from a sterile solution of PBS, pH 7.4, 5%~8% trehalose and mannitol.
Purity:  >85 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage:  Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution:  It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
Molecular Mass:  The recombinant human REG4 consists of 147 amino acids and predictes a molecular mass of 17.4 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rh REG4 is approximately 17 and 21 kDa due to different glycosylation.
