Recombinant Human Nectin-4 Protein, hFc-tagged

Product Information
Product Name:  Recombinant Human Nectin-4 Protein, hFc-tagged
Catalog#:  MK1027H
Species:  Human
Source:  HEK293
Tag:  hFc
Product Overview:  Recombinant Human Nectin-4 protein (Q969V4) (Gly32-Ser349), fused with a C-terminal hFc tag, was expressed in HEK293 cells.
Description:  Nectin-4 is a 66 kDa Type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the Nectin family of the Ig superfamily. It primarily functions in cell adhesion by mediating both homophilic and heterophilic interactions, notably with Nectin-1. Clinically, Nectin-4 is significant as it acts as a receptor for the measles virus, and its mutation is linked to ectodermal dysplasia-syndactyly syndrome, indicating a crucial role in human development.
Formulation:  Formulated in 0.22μm-filtered Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4).
Purity:  > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage:  Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution:  Use distilled water to dissolve the protein to a concentration above 100 μg/mL. Aliquot the solution into single-use vials and freeze.
Molecular Mass:  Approximately 61.1 kDa.
Stability:  Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20°C to -80°C.
Endotoxin:  Less than 1.0 EU per μg as determined by the LAL method.
