Product Name: | Recombinant Human MKI67, GST tagged |
Product Overview: | Recombinant Human MKI67 (P46013-2) mature form (Met1-Pro120), fused with the GST tag at the N-terminus, was produced in E. coli. |
Description: | MKI67 is a nuclear protein that is associated with and may be necessary for cellular proliferation. It is also involved in ribosomal RNA transcription. Inactivation of antigen MKI67 leads to inhibition of ribosomal RNA synthesis. MKI67 is known as a cellular marker for proliferation. It is strictly associated with cell proliferation. During interphase, the Ki-67 antigen can be exclusively detected within the cell nucleus, whereas in mitosis most of the protein is relocated to the surface of the chromosomes. |
