Recombinant Human EPCAM, His-tagged, Biotinylated

Product Information
Catalog#:  MK0282H
Product Name:  Recombinant Human EPCAM, His-tagged, Biotinylated
Product Overview:  Human EpCAM /CD326 Protein, Biotinylated (Biotinylated EpCAM) Gln 24 - Lys 265, was labeled with biotin based on rhEpCAM Protein, which was produced in human 293 cells (HEK293 cells).
Description:  This gene encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen and is a member of a family that includes at least two type I membrane proteins. This antigen is expressed on most normal epithelial cells and gastrointestinal carcinomas and functions as a homotypic calcium-independent cell adhesion molecule. The antigen is being used as a target for immunotherapy treatment of human carcinomas. Mutations in this gene result in congenital tufting enteropathy.
Source:  HEK293 cells
Species:  Human
Tag:  His
Formulation:  Lyophilized from a sterile solution of PBS, pH 7.4, 5%~8% trehalose and mannitol.
Purity:  >95% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Storage:  Store under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution:  It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution. Centrifuge the vial at 4°C before opening to recover the entire contents.
Molecular Mass:  Biotinylated EpCAM, fused with 6×His tag at the C-terminus, has a calculated MW of 29 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Gln 24. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 33-36 kDa due to glycosylation.
Stability:  No activity loss was observed after storage at: In lyophilized state for 1 year (4°C); After reconstitution under sterile conditions for 3 months (-70°C).
Endotoxin:  Less than 1.0 EU per μg as determined by the LAL method.
Notes:  Research Use Only. Not for use in clinical procedures.Aoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
