Description:  DLL3, a transmembrane protein in the Delta/Serrate/Lag-2 (DSL) family of Notch ligands, inhibits primary neurogenesis and helps divert neurons along specific differentiation pathways. It also contributes to the formation of somite boundaries during paraxial mesoderm segmentation.
