Product Name: | Recombinant Human CASP3, His tagged |
Product Overview: | Recombinant Human CASP3 mature form (Q5IS54) (Ser29-His277), fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, was produced in E. coli. |
Description: | Caspase-3, also known as CASP-3, is a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. It is highly expressed in lung, spleen, heart, liver and kidney. Caspase-3 also can be detected in many cell lines. Caspase-3 is involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. At the onset of apoptosis it proteolytically cleaves poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) at a '216-Asp-|-Gly-217' bond. Caspase-3 also cleaves and activates sterol regulatory element binding protein |
Source: | E. coli |
Species: | Human |
Tag: | His |
Formulation: | Lyophilized from sterile 20mM HEPES, 100mM NaCl, 1mM EDTA, 10% Sucrose, 0.1% chaps, pH 7.5, 5%~8% trehalose and mannitol. |
